Bird oracle by the river

introductio

Short description

Bird oracle fragment. Although very little is preserved of this tablet, the presence of sentences with movement of birds by “the river” suggest this is an early text (Early New Kingdom/pre-Imperial age). The few early diagnostic sign forms seem to confirm this dating.
