These two lines were written in a much smaller script; see also similarly rev. 9´ and 10´.

A large wedge is probably meant to mark the lateral ruling line, which in this area was covered by some extra clay.

The signs NAM and MA were written afterwards, on the edge of the tablet, and a previous text was partially overwritten with KÁN and the following ŠA.

-ez-zi is written above this line of text, somewhat smaller.

Though these signs in context must be read SUMEŠ, they are written unusually. SU shows a version of the older form (Rüster C. – Neu E. 1989a 213/1-2), though with the upper horizontal wedge starting further to the left. Between the SU and the MEŠ there is also one vertical wedge too few, perhaps as a form of ligature, and the configuration of winkelhakens in MEŠ is also unusually dense. This is unusual form is hard to ascribe to a scribal mistake, since the same form is used in the following line, as well as possibly in KBo 41.185, rev. 4′ and 5′.

Lines 9´-11´ were written in a smaller script, possibly written over several erased lines of smaller text, the traces of which can be seen between the beginnings of lines 8´ and 9´.

Perhaps ta-ma-⸢aš-ša⸣-[an ḫar-zi, cf. KUB 49.24, rev. 12´.

It is possible that, instead of TEMEŠ as in the handcopy, the text here and in the following line has the unusual form of SUMEŠ found in KUB 16.43, rev. 7′ and 8′.
