The text is a small fragment consisting of five fragmentarily lines. The reason for the oracle inquiry remains unclear. The preserved parts pertain exclusively to the oracle procedures and their outcome. The structure of the text suggests that the oracle inquiry was performed with two oracle techniques with a KIN oracle as a countercheck. Since in line 2′ the verdict is mentioned directly after the request for an unfavorable result, the first oracle was presumably performed by bird extispicy (MUŠEN ḪURRI) that almost never contains a description of the oracle findings.

Compared to other Hittite oracle reports, the text looks quite well written. The tablet surface is smooth, and the signs are deeply engraved in the clay.
