The restorations are based on the standard formulae of Hittite oracle texts. The oracle procedures recorded in lines 1–3 (cola 1–9) are likely MUŠEN ḪURRI oracles, since the oracle outcome is stated directly in response to the request, whereas in other oracle types, such as KIN or SU (sheep extispicy), the findings are usually described before the verdict is given.
