Bird oracle for an angry deity

introductio

Short description

Fragment of a bird oracle, containing a report concerning an angry deity (obv. 1´-2´). Part of the oracle response is preserved, though the augur’s name is missing. From the legible portions of both the question and response, we can infer with some likelihood that the oracle concluded the deity was not in anger.
